Unfortunately...
Haley started the morning VERY emotional.
I ripped the neck of my shirt requiring last minute repair.
we got lost.
hit tons of traffic.
50 minutes late!!!
As a result, we didn't get to walk with Maddie's team, but there were plenty of people to walk with whom also got a late start. Haley was into the 5K for about the first K, after that she had no desire to walk, so we(mostly Daddy) got a real workout carrying her the rest of the way. Afterwards we did get to meet up with our team & meet Maddie's parents & her adorable new little sister. It was really special. So until next year...
