Motherhood

My heart is full.

Actually it's overflowing.

I could not imagine how much joy & happiness motherhood has given me.

I also could not imagine how this little person that I'm sooo in love with, could make me sooo crazy!

I mean, it's amazing how a child can try your patience & what I wouldn't give for a whole day of lounging in bed. Except, that's not really what I want, I love spending everyday with my daughter. I wouldn't want to spend Mother's Day with anyone other than the one that gave me this amazing title.

Haley is 19 months now & she is quite the trouble maker. She is constantly testing her limits & proclaiming HER decisions. I offer her a cereal bar, she says "no. cheese.", I give her eggs for breakfast, again "no. apple." One morning last week it took 3 outfits before she would leave her clothes on. I would put her in something & she would pull at it while screaming "OFF!!!". Now don't get me wrong, I knew this would happen, I just didn't think it would happen so soon.

As you can see here, she also loves climbing on top of things.

When changing her diaper she will repeatedly tell you "Stop it! Stop it!"

These 3 pictures were all taken in less then a minute. I had started to walk away from her. (She's been rather clingy to Mommy lately!)

Exhausted after a day of leaving toys all over the place & bossing Mommy around!

But I LOVE her. Every curl & eyelash. All her fingers & toes.

Her beautiful blue eyes.

Her sweetness.

Her silliness

Everything.

Haley, thank you for making me a Mommy. You're everything I hoped for & more.

Happy Mother's Day!
