A Week of Firsts

So we started this week with Haley's 1st visit to the beach. Jon, myself, Haley, Rose & Evey all took a trip down to Malibu for some fun in the sun! Unfortunately, there had been a storm somewhere out at sea & we ended up with a beach covered in seaweed & some not kid friendly, rough waves. The kids still enjoyed playing in the sand, but hopefully next visit will be better.

Next, Haley had her first ride on a bike. Jon and I borrowed my dad's & brother's bikes & helmets & loaded Haley into her new bike seat. We took our first bike ride to Grandma Cindy's this morning & Haley just relaxed & enjoyed the ride.


Also this morning Haley had her first Baby & Me swim class. She had a blast! She loved being in the water & was giggling & kicking the whole time.
