While in NY my dad had a class reunion at a friend's house. That house, just happens to be on the beautiful Keuka Lake, with a perfect little private beach. It was Haley's first time swimming/playing in a lake & she had a ton of fun.
she skipped rocks with her Daddy
they called to & followed the local ducks
and they splashed & splashed & splashed
Finally after playing all day, Haley gave in to a nap around 4pm. She was exhausted, but would only fall asleep while nursing in my arms.
It was very peaceful holding her, while listening to the lake water lap against the shore just feet away.
It was such a nice break from all craziness called southern CA.
But finally her 30lbs was just too heavy, so Daddy got his turn.
He LOVES holding her while she sleeps.
Don't bother asking, he won't give her up if they're cuddling together.
I ADORE that she's Daddy's little girl!
