Almost a year ago I learned that this precious little 17 month old girl had just passed away due to complications caused by being born premature. I've continued to follow her mother's blog & my heart has broken many times trying to imagine the devastation of losing a child. Last year I read on her mom's blog that they had a Team Maddie in the Los Angeles March of Dimes walk & I told Jon that if they did it again this year I wanted us to participate. Well, on April 24th this year, Jon, Haley & myself will be Marching for Maddie. It's our way of remembering her & all the children who pass too soon. It's to support her parents & their unimaginable loss. And it's for our family, grateful for beinging blessed with such a strong, healthy, amazing daughter.
